What is ETX Connection?

ETX Connection is a non-profit organization in the East Texas area that desires to connect local college students to other Christian college students, like-minded Christian churches and ministries and continue to build on their foundation in Jesus Christ through the Bible. Our annual camp event in August welcomes new and current students looking to get connected in the local Christian body.

ETX Connection began with a calling in 2022 to integrate college students into church communities, inspired by Texas A&M’s IMPACT Retreat. Last year, with support from local churches and student leaders, we launched our inaugural event. This year, we're enhancing our program with an overnight stay at Timberline camp, student-led small groups, and a ministry fair to help students find their church home. We are calling the camp “UPSTREAM,” because we truly want to see the world changed by our students swimming against the current flow of the world.
